Billing Specialist

Ally Pediatric Therapy, a specialty clinic for children with autism and other childhood disorders, is looking for an Billing Specialist to join our growing team.

• Conducts pre-billing scrub of session data to ensure compliance with internal standards and generation of clean and accurate claims for submission to funders
• Generates and exports claims regularly, in accordance with Ally’s internal clean claim standards
• Conducts regular reviews of unbilled sessions to ensure avoidance of timely filing denials and adherence to internal DSO and timely filing benchmarks
• Works with internal stakeholders to resolve pre-billing holds and issues
• Identifies demographic and authorization issues and assigns tasks to RCM team to resolve and prevent future denials or rejections
• Generates and exports secondary claims
• Generates and posts monthly patient invoices and ensures high levels of patient satisfaction with cost of services, invoice, and payment process

Requirements

• CRCR (Certified Revenue Cycle Representative) certified, or willing to obtain within 90 days
• Bachelor’s degree in business/healthcare administration, finance, or information systems, preferred
• 3+ years’ experience in a medical or behavioral health group practice with emphasis on back-office functions, preferred
