We are seeking a dedicated and professional Medical Receptionist to join our medical office in Auburn, AL. As a Medical Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for patients and play a critical role in ensuring smooth and efficient operations within the office. Your primary responsibilities will include greeting and engaging with patients, providing a wide range of administrative support, managing scheduling, and organizing files. This position is vital for maintaining the provider-patient relationship by ensuring excellent customer service and efficient office administration.
Key Responsibilities:
- Answer and route phone calls in accordance with office policies.
- Greet and direct all visitors, including vendors, clients, and customers.
- Register and schedule patient/client appointments.
- Ensure availability of treatment information by filing and retrieving patient records.
- Ensure completion of paperwork, sign-in, and security procedures.
- Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong customer service orientation
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Dependability and strong work ethic
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role
- Firm understanding of ICD and CPT codes
