IT and Operations Specialist

Nova Bank is seeking a dedicated IT and Operations Specialist to join our team. This role combines technical expertise with operational acumen to design, develop, and maintain technology solutions that align with business objectives and ensure smooth operations within the bank.

Key Responsibilities:

-Leverages technical knowledge and industry experience to design, build, test, and maintain technology solutions.

-Develops software components and hardware for new and emerging technology projects; aligns these with business strategies and objectives.

-Ensures project deliverables, maintain compliance with relevant standards, and processes of Nova Bank.

-Ability to write and maintain procedural and design documentation.

-Performs analysis on failures, propose design changes, and encourage operational improvements.

-Stays abreast of emerging technology opportunities.

-Serve as backup to Bank Operations Specialist duties of GL and account reconciliations.

-Reviews tasks critically and ensures they are appropriately prioritized and sized for incremental delivery; anticipates and communicates blockers and delays before they require escalation.

 -Proficient in software implementation.

-Above average organizational skills.

-Proven ability to create priorities and to follow through on projects. 

-Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.

-Above average technical ability to support products/services and coworkers.

-Ability to work independently yet closely with other staff.

-Excellent verbal and written skills to include interpersonal communication skills.

-Proficient Microsoft Office Program skills (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel).

-Flexibility and eagerness to learn.
