Role overview

As the Community Management Lead, you will play a crucial role in shaping the gaming experience for players and communities. Your expertise will be the driving force behind crafting and managing successful Community Management and Social Media projects. This role presents a unique opportunity to lead a team of talented Community Managers and foster a thriving gaming community for our clients. 🚀🎮

What are we looking for? Our Community Management Lead has a knack for the following skills:

Communication

  • Assess your team’s performance regularly and according to the processes, providing positive and constructive feedback to team members.
  • Provide both positive recognition and disciplinary warnings appropriately.
  • Prepare and conduct team-building activities for the team.

Analytics

  • Be responsible for the upkeep of the studio policy, process, and security.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the capability to recommend and implement effective solutions to difficult and politically sensitive issues.

Leadership

  • Directly manage Community Managers and conduct regular coaching sessions.
  • Skillful conflict management and the ability to provide constructive feedback.
  • Report project statuses and information to the management team regularly.
  • Manage day-to-day client interaction and ensure correct quality control procedures are met.

Business

  • Manage all processes and ensure the timely delivery of Keywords’ Community Management services across multiple projects.
  • Monitor KPIs, set goals, train, lead and motivate teams.
  • Onboard new projects and set schedules according to local regulations and project needs.
  • Manage and approve vacation requests and monitor employee attendance.
  • Ensure that all project and team-related documentation is stored correctly and up to date.
  • Participate in the recruitment process for reporting positions.

You'd be a great fit for this role if you have:

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in the Video Games industry.
  • Minimum 3 years of social media management experience, creating strategies, content, and copywriting for platforms such as X, Facebook and Instagram.
  • Proven experience managing/leading teams in the games industry at least for 1 year OR 2+ years experience as a Senior Social Media Manager/Senior Community Manager.
  • Excellent level of English.
  • Availability to work 9am to 5pm EDT/CDT.
  • A proactive attitude
  • Ability to work effectively and decisively under pressure
  • Highly organized with the ability to prioritize tasks
  • Strong competency using spreadsheet software (Excel, GSheets).
  • Basic IT literacy, specifically with proficiency in MS Office suite, Word, and Outlook.
  • Experience in evaluating personnel and identifying talent.
  • A Bachelor’s degree in any course or equivalent work experience.
