Fabrication:

• Fabricate and assemble framework and build items, large and small, including steel and aluminum structures
• Read and interpret blueprints and sketches

Electric Assembly:

• Possess knowledge of complex electrical system installation and/or overhaul of major equipment
• Have experience with technical drawings and schematics
• Are familiar with conduit bending and thick gauge wire pulling
• Have good interpersonal skills and can function as a team member in a manufacturing environment

Welding:

• Welding I-Beam Frame and Fuel Tanks in flat/vertical overhead positions

POSITION SUMMARY
The Assembler position may be crossed-trained in Assembly, Sandable Final Finish and/or Material Cutting functions and be utilized, in those functions, throughout the facility, based on customer demand.
 
WHAT YOU WILL DO:

ASSEMBLY:

• Read route card to determine what hardware and how many are used. 

• Properly set part before install.
• Grind hardware location and, if needed, hardware without grinding powder coat.
• Install hardware with proper fixtures using a plexus gun.

The primary responsibilities of the 1st shift Building Assembly Supervisor is to plan, direct, coordinate, and control activities of workers engaged in both the finishing and staging departments.

• Interfaces with managers, and supervisors from other departments coordinating supporting needs and output activities from those departments.
• Assists with prioritizing workloads and the coordination of manpower requirements by increasing or decreasing personnel and overtime to meet changing conditions to ensure customer order deadlines are met.
• Studies production schedules for proper shop floor production layout and ensures materials needed are accessible to assigned builder crews. 
• Assists with training and executing process improvements as recommended through the quality management system.
