Finishing Operator 2nd Shift in Virginia

Pay is determined by prior experience.

Position is on 2nd shift (Monday through Thursday 3:00 pm to 1:00 am) there is a $1.00 per hour shift differential.

• Training will take place on 1st shift (Monday through Thursday 5:00 am to 3:00 pm)
• Execute jobs as directed by finishing Lead Hand or by ship date on tickets in WIP.
• Clear the line from previous production run. Mandatory for all tasks related to pharmaceutical and food products.
• Review the job ticket and survey the amount of product to rewind to determine if the job is extensive and will require additional Rewind Operator(s).
• Verify the notes and any customer specification on the ticket so that the order is executed with accuracy.
• Set up the equipment according to the job specification verifying tickets against spec folder.
