Telecommunications Technician

Telecommunication Tower Technicians are members of a crew performing general construction activities with an emphasis on tower system installation and maintenance and inspection of existing support structures used in the provision of essential telecommunication systems, including personal wireless communications, public safety communications, utility networks, and broadcasting.

• Ability to read and execute construction documents and RFDS with accuracy
• Install and decommission communications equipment and associated hardware, coax, hybrid trunks, weatherproofing, and color coding
• Perform troubleshooting, capture construction reporting documentation, take site progress photos, and execute the VQA/VSS process
• Climbing of tower structure(s) such as self-support towers, guyed towers, monopoles, water towers, and rooftops to complete job tasks

Tred-Mark Communications is seeking a Telecommunications Field Service Technician. This candidate is a self-motivated, detail oriented individual able to perform service work on various systems. These systems include but are not limited to the following phone systems: Avaya IP Office, Samsung, Panasonic and other legacy phone systems. This candidate will also perform network equipment installations, such as routers and switches. Most equipment is pre-programmed. Experience with any of the above listed systems is a huge plus.
