Senior Civil Design Engineer

Hire Resolve is currently seeking a highly skilled Senior Civil/Water Design Engineer to join our client's team. As a Senior Design Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and managing civil and water engineering projects from concept to completion.

Responsibilities:

• Preparation of plans and specifications, cost estimates, and feasibility studies, and to
• Provide engineering support during project construction. The senior civil/water
• Design engineer will coordinate internal and external resources, including
• subconsultants, for the completion of projects within budget and on schedule.
• The senior civil/water design engineer will also interact with clients, and regulatory and permitting agencies

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited college;

• Lead and manage the civil design team throughout all project phases

• Develop and implement civil engineering design standards and procedures

• Perform civil engineering calculations, analysis, and design of site development, grading, drainage, stormwater management, and utility systems

• Prepare and review technical reports, drawings, and specifications

• Collaborate with clients, architects, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and provide innovative design solutions

• Ensure compliance with applicable codes, regulations, and permitting requirements

• Coordinate with other engineering disciplines to ensure interdisciplinary coordination and integration

• Review and evaluate contractor submittals and RFIs during construction

• Monitor project progress, provide engineering support, and resolve design-related issues

• Mentor and train junior engineers
