Security Operations Lead

Control Risks is seeking a GSOC Program Specialist to join our team in supporting a major technology client. This role is crucial for enhancing our client’s security operations and ensuring readiness to respond effectively to various threats.

This position will be based in San Jose, CA.

Key responsibilities include:

• Responsible for staff onboarding, training, drilling, quality inspection, shift rostering, developing SOPs and other operation management;
• Provide regular & ad hoc business reports per client requirements;
• Lead operation process optimization, identify problems or risks in the workflow, submit improvement plans, and assist in solving them;
• Regularly liaise with client to ensure that client's issues are resolved in a timely manner, and ensure GSOC Operators/ Shift Leaders are aligned with overall vision/strategy;

Control Risks is looking to hire and embedded GSOC Shift Lead to support a major technology client of ours based in San Jose. We are looking to hire three people to support each shift on our team, Day, Swing, and Night shift. These roles will help to oversee the operators on site and ensure all monitoring and response activities are carried out appropriately and efficiently.

• Supervise and direct GSOC operators to ensure all tasks and monitoring/response activities are carried out efficiently and in compliance with standard operating procedures
• Ensure proper handover between shifts and maintain continuity of operations;
• Responsible for proof-reading, vetting, ensuring quality control, and approval of GSOC products;
• Lead the response to incidents, coordinating between operators, and other relevant entities, and escalating as required.

As the Security Operations Lead with Control Risks, you will be directly support a Fortune 500 client of ours, helping to implement and oversee security measures during major events. This position will support the client's efforts to prepare for major global events to ensure the safety and security of the company's people and assets.

This position will require the candidate to be based in the Southeast United States.

• Work with the World Cup project team daily to provide security support and ensure security requirements are in place for secure operations during the event.
