Job Summary:

The Housekeeper will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order in cabins and common areas at Coons Franklin Lodge. This position is for the Summer of 2024.

• None.

• Clean and maintain cabins and common areas according to established standards
• Perform tasks including, but not limited to, cleaning bathrooms, making beds, vacuuming, and dusting
• Ensure all guest requests and concerns are addressed promptly and with a high level of customer service
• Restock supplies in rooms and common areas
• Report any maintenance or repair issues to the appropriate personnel
• Adhere to health and safety guidelines and procedures

• Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

POSITION DESCRIPTION AND RESPONSIBILITIES: include, but are not limited to the following:

• Determines that room has been vacated and proceed to clean and service room in specified procedures, including dusting, vacuuming, cleaning bathroom, mirrors, emptying trash, making beds, replenishing towels and supplies, and any other tasks needed
• Responsible for the security of assigned room keys
• Replenishes supplies where needed, maintaining housekeeping cart, linen supply and supply closet areas neat and fully stocked
• Promptly report any maintenance or guest needs to Supervisor

About the Role

The Housekeeping Heavy Porter is responsible for cleaning and service all hotel areas and is responsible for the safe and effective operation of heavy-duty equipment.

Position Responsibilities

• Clean and service all Hotel areas including specifically the safe and effective operation of heavy-duty equipment, carpet shampooing, moving of furniture and other tasks necessary to ensure our guests experience a pleasing perception when coming to the Ocean Casino Resort .
