The Homestead is an 8-bed psychiatric community home for adolescents ages 11-17 years. This Homestead serves adolescents at high risk for further psychiatric hospitalization for which all other community interventions have been exhausted. The program provides a multi-faceted, structured, comprehensive treatment program that focuses on mental health, special education, daily living skills, proper medical care, substance abuse prevention, and the recreational needs of our youth. The Homestead’s primary goal is to reintegrate our youth residents back into the community with their families.

Mental Health Association is hiring immediately for a Residential Clinician. The Residential Clinician should have experience in either substance use or mental health use disorder counseling, provides direct individual, group, educational, clinical and case management services to residents. Counselors are responsible for the completion of required screening, assessments, and treatment planning using ASAM criteria and an integrated approach to treatment. Counselors are responsible for facilitating a therapeutic milieu through meetings and groups and engaging residents in structured daily schedule.
