Passive Thermal/Fluids Systems Engineer, Space Systems

Responsibilities: 

The selected individual will provide Passive thermal engineering and system requirement support for the analysis of spacecraft and space-based instruments. The position will entail performing reviews and oversight of complex aero-space craft, space-based instruments, and landing components. Provide system functional design and integration support for space hardware interfaces, through the development of the integrated element architecture through appropriate controlling documents and deliverables.

Perform technical integration across NASA centers, diverse engineering and program organizations, and a variety of engineering disciplines. Assist in the development strategic plans and negotiate resolution of open requirement and thermal issues and concerns to ensure closure of TBDs, TBRs, etc. within the corresponding organizational schedule allowance.
