Manager, Government Relations

The National Milk Producers Federation (NMPF) is a dynamic and influential organization dedicated to representing dairy farmers and cooperatives across the United States. We are seeking a skilled and motivated individual to join our team as the Manager of Government Relations.

Responsibilities

• Engage in direct advocacy with members of Congress, government agencies, and other decision-makers to influence legislation and regulations that impact the dairy sector.

• Monitor policy developments and provide timely analysis to the Executive Vice President on issues that impact the dairy industry.

• Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including government officials, policymakers, member cooperative representatives, industry associations, and advocacy groups. Represent NMPF in relevant coalitions and alliances.

We are seeking an Operations & Compliance Manager to oversee all compliance, financial management and operations for the Government Relations (GR) team, while advancing the initiatives meant to further our clients’ causes.

This is a hybrid role based out of our Washington DC office.

• Run point on financial management (e.g., invoicing, payments, revenue projections, new business tracking) for GR team; working closely with CFO, COO, and Finance.
• Oversee expense reporting for senior-level GR staff.
