Makerspace Technician

MAKERSPACE TECHNICIAN

The Makerspace Technician will serve as the primary point of contact for the makerspace, providing instruction in makerspace resources, creating engaging activities and training opportunities, and overseeing the daily workflow of the makerspace.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Develop educational programs for a variety of technology and skill-levels
• Provide training and instruction for staff and patrons in the use of the makerspace’s resources
• Manage the daily workflow of patrons and programming using effective scheduling, planning and communication
• Create effective procedures for the makerspace to make it a pleasure to use
• Ensure proper use of makerspace equipment and technology
• Monitor and report all issues – keep Manager informed
