Head of Compliance & Risk

Role Responsibilities

• Establish compliance and legal requirements across all business departments and collaborate to implement compliance systems into their workflows.
• Conduct regular internal audits and reporting across all areas of the business and implement measures to mitigate potential risks.
• Lead projects on important intellectual property for the business; particularly overseeing trademark, copyright and patent holdings and applications (both domestically and internationally).
• Devise and implement proactive and reactive strategies to protect from potential threats.
• Collaborate with suppliers and factories in China to meet all business, legal and regulatory needs; particularly focusing on product certification, quality assurance, import/export regulations and all general compliance needs.
• Educate team members on best practices to reduce risk.
