Grapple Truck Operator (Class A CDL)

Our grapple truck drivers pick-up and haul away tree debris from land clearing and tree smaller removal sites including residential and commercial locations. Hours are generally 7am to 5pm. Drive a manual or automatic CDL class vehicle in a safe and professional manner.

Requirements

Daily Requirements

• Drive to pick-up locations and prepare for pick-up; maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positions
• Load tree debris into the truck using a knuckle boom loader, ensuring the debris is secure and safe for transport.
• Transport raw materials from job sites to tree dump yards
• Inspect vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues in accordance with the general maintenance guidelines and perform preventative maintenance including basic self repair
• Plan routes and meet delivery schedules
• Collect and verify delivery instructions
• Report defects, accidents or violations
