The Director of Graduate Success and Residency Planning at the Idaho College of Osteopathic Medicine (ICOM) is a pivotal role responsible for guiding and supporting students through their transition to residency, a journey that spans their time at ICOM (OMS I to OMS IV). This includes overseeing all aspects of the Match process, application services, interview training, and providing comprehensive guidance on specialty competitiveness, rank order lists, and the Supplemental Offer and Acceptance Program (SOAP). The Director will also integrate the AAMC Careers in Medicine program into the curriculum for OMS I and II students, assist in specialty decision-making, and connect students with research, networking opportunities, and specialty-specific mentors. This position leads the development of Medical Student Performance Evaluations, or MSPE’s, organizing a team-wide effort.
