Bodily Injury Claims Adjuster

Our Bodily Injury Claims Adjuster handles bodily injury and general liability claims through their life-cycle including - but not limited to - investigation, evaluation and claim resolution. The purpose of this position is to provide service to agents, insureds and others to ensure claims resolve accurately and timely.

Responsibilities

• Investigate assigned claims, confirm coverage, and verify damages
• Take loss reports directly from insured and/or claimants and/or their representatives
• Initiate claims handling
• Recommend and maintain appropriate claim file reserves
• Evaluate, negotiate and settle claims
• Attendance of depositions, settlement conferences and trials
• Other related duties as assigned by supervisor

• Associate’s or bachelor’s degree preferred

• 3 to 5 years of experience adjusting third-party liability claims;...
