Assistant Maintenance Worker

Under the supervision of the Property Manager, the Assistant Maintenance Worker performs custodial

duties to ensure that all buildings and/or dwellings are maintained in a clean and safe manner. The

Assistant Maintenance Worker also provides basic maintenance duties and repairs as necessary.

Responsibilities:

• Daily cleaning and sanitizing of offices and program residences in accordance with NYS Dept. ofHealth COVID – 19 requirements, including but not limited, to sanitizing and wipe down of high touch areas.
• Keep premises clean and functional by performing general office upkeep, such as garbage removal, sweeping and mopping, etc.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks e.g. changing light bulbs, replacing fire alarm batteries,carbon dioxide detectors; etc.
• Sweep and mop building hallways and stairs
