Accounting Clerk (Payables / Payroll)

General:

The Accounting Clerk (AP/Payroll) is responsible for managing payroll & pay-related employee data along with execution of payable processes including: receipt, review, and handling requests for payment. Duties cover verifying accuracy, coding, and maintaining records of financial data for reporting and reconciliation.  This role reports to the accounting manager with a primary work schedule of normal business hours, Mon. – Fri. with flexibility to adjust schedule as needed.

Specific Duties / Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain computer-based AP & payroll files & data

• Efficiently enter and manage requests for timely payments

• Review invoices / statements for accuracy and correct coding
