Kitchen Mechanic- Full Time in New Jersey

About the Role
The Kitchen Mechanic is responsible for performing maintenance, repairs and installation of kitchen equipment throughout the facility.

Position Responsibilities

• Responsible for daily inspection of kitchen equipment and communicating with Chef’s Department to determine where repairs are needed
• Responsible for the repair and preventative maintenance of all kitchen equipment, including ovens, boilers, mixers, choppers, toasters, glass and dishwashers, etc.
• Performs other general maintenance duties as assigned
• Ensures all work is completed and of superior craftsmanship
• Removes debris caused by work completed
• Maintains proper care and storage of tools and equipment
• Works closely with Lead to coordinate an efficient and safe work environment
