Program Assistant in Minnesota

Job Summary: Under the direction of the Program Director, Financial Opportunity Programs, this position supports the department programming needs. Responsibilities include supporting participant eligibility screening, scheduling appointments and application support. Providing information to participants and community, including referrals as need, to other resources. Responsibilities include data entry, scheduling, mailings, scanning files into databases, spreadsheet tracking and preparation of client files and program materials.

• Creates a welcoming environment, engaging participants, community members and staff in a friendly, respectful and positive manner.
• Supports department by providing program information to participants and the community.
• Manages incoming calls, returns messages in a timely manner and oversees lobby during business hours.
