Senior Cloud Software Engineer in Maryland

As a Senior Cloud Software Engineer you will be become part of a dynamic team focused on implementing global resilient, next GEN cloud native frameworks and hybrid cloud business models using containerization/orchestration and funcition based technologies. 

Responsibilities for this role include but are not limited to:

• Design and implement Zero Trust security posture. 
• Ability to work with and deploy DEVOPS, DEVSECOPS and continuous integration/development (CI/CD) pipelines such as GitLab within orchestration or other cloud vender fabric. 
• Ability to work with multiple cloud vendors and private cloud industry solutions such as Kubernetes, AWS, Azure and OCI. 
• Ability to work with and deploy cloud package managed systems such as YUM Repos and WSUS within the hybrid cloud framework

Provide cloud software research, development, and engineering services to include requirements analysis, software development, installation, integration, evaluation, enhancement, sustainment, testing, validation, and issue diagnosis/resolution.

Requirements

TS/SCI with poly required

• Within the last one and a half (1.5) years, a minimum of nine (9+) years of experience programming with at least one (1) object oriented language, such as but not limited to Java, Python, C++ or Go, or nine (9+) years of experience building large platforms by integrating open source or commercial software together with automation scripting.
• Demonstrated experience designing and developing applications in a Linux operating environment.
• 5 years functional experience with containerization technologies like Docker
