Accounting Clerk in Iowa

Position Overview:

Prestage Farms is looking for an Accounting Clerk to join our team. As an Accounting Clerk you will be responsible for assisting with various accounting tasks, including but not limited to accounts payable, accounts receivable, and reconciliations. They will work closely with the accounting department to ensure accurate financial record-keeping and compliance with established accounting procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Accounts Payable:

- Process vendor invoices, ensuring accuracy and adherence to payment terms.

- Verify appropriate approvals and coding for all invoices.

- Prepare and perform weekly check runs.

- Maintain spreadsheets for accurate reporting and tracking of expenses.
