About Sankofa Montessori

Sankofa Montessori is the only State Charter School Commission-approved tuition-free K-6 Public Montessori Charter school in Georgia. We were approved in July of 2022 and will open our doors in the Fall of 2023 to welcome 168 Kindergarten, 1st, and 2nd graders. Our vision is to awaken the inherent greatness in each child. We achieve our vision by providing a culturally responsive, child- and family-centered Montessori education so we can develop in all of our students the knowledge, skill, and agency to have a life of purpose.

As a founding teacher, you will have the exciting opportunity to develop and lead engaging and enriching programs that complement our core curriculum and provide students with a well-rounded education.
