Assistant Childcare Teacher in Georgia

At Kids Point Learning Center, Assistant Teachers play a crucial role in our success by supporting Lead Teacher(s) and our classrooms in various ways. They supervise children and contribute to the creation of a caring and safe environment in the assigned classroom(s). The Assistant Teacher is also responsible for implementing curriculum, lesson plans, and activities to enhance the overall care and development of the children. Positions are available in specific classes or as a floating assistant, providing help wherever needed throughout the center.

Requirements

• Minimum requirement: High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Previous childcare experience is preferred.
• Must have the ability to lift up to 30 pounds and be able to see, hear, and respond to children’s needs. This includes reaching high, stooping to the child’s level, sitting on the floor, rising from the floor, and standing for long periods of time.
