Avoq’s Government Relations team is seeking an intelligent, proactive, and motivated professional to assist its’ team of Federal lobbyists in performing research and writing projects on behalf of Fortune 100 clients, major trade associations, and leading public interest groups.  The Senior Research Associate will be supervised by the Research Manager and the Director, Government Relations.

This role is ideal for anyone who has demonstrated research and analytical experience in a political setting (campaign, Capitol Hill, political committee) and is eager to become part of an integrated team that works hard every day to spur action. Position Summary

Under the supervision of the Executive Director of CNS-DC, the Research Associate will contribute substantively to the research, training, and educational activities of CNS DC. This will include, in particular, a focus on examination of sanctions and supply chain issues. Work will include examination of Russian or Chinese language sources. The position may also support administration and implementation of grant awards and associated projects. These activities will include: preparing educational materials, conducting original research, writing and editing reports as well as work plans and quarterly/annual implementation reports, and organizing workshops and similar events.
