This important position will provide technical leadership in the planning, development, and implementation of California’s building energy codes overall, and specifically in the field of heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC). Our client, a leading engineering and design firm, is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer with expertise in the Life Sciences industry to join their dynamic team. As the Team Lead, you will be responsible for leading and managing a team of mechanical engineers, overseeing the design and delivery of mechanical systems for Life Sciences facilities.

You will work closely with clients, architects, and other project team members to develop innovative and sustainable solutions that meet project requirements and objectives. This includes designing HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems, as well as coordinating with other disciplines to ensure a coordinated and integrated design.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in mechanical design, with a focus on Life Sciences projects.
• Professional Engineering (PE) license preferred.
