This is a part-time remote role for a Licensed Mental Health Therapist. The Licensed Mental Health Therapist will provide online counseling and therapy services using brief therapy or single-session intervention.

Requirements

• Have independent license to be able to practice in California as a mental health therapist
• Minimum of 2 years of experience providing counseling and therapy services
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Knowledgeable in evidence-based treatments and techniques, including CBT and DBT
• Experience with virtual counseling and therapy sessions
• Comfortable using technology, including video conferencing and electronic health records
• High level of empathy, intuition, and passion for mental health and new modalities

We are looking for both full-time (30+ hrs) and part-time (16-29 hrs) Associate Mental Health Counselors. This is a school-based position with locations all across Marin (Fairfax to Novato).

*$500 Signing Bonus upon 4 months of successful continual employment in the position.

Marin Counseling Collaborative (MCC): Our community clinic offers professional, skilled, affordable, psychotherapy to address the challenges that life can bring. The Marin Counseling Collaborative is a community counseling center and training program operated by Bay Area Community Resources. MCC provides counseling to children, adults, couples, and families. All of our therapists specialize in working with children and adolescents and have school-based counseling experience. Associates working for BACR have the opportunity to learn about private practice through their work with MCC.
