Labor and Employment Associate in California

Position: Labor Associate - Mid to Senior Level
Location: Los Angeles or San Francisco

Direct Counsel is seeking a mid to senior-level associate attorney with a minimum of five years of experience in California traditional labor and employment law. The ideal candidate will have a background in arbitrations and unfair labor practice charges, with a general understanding of federal and state employment laws. Experience in employment litigation and agency charges is beneficial, while prior NLRB experience is a plus.

The candidate would represent employers in all facets and at all stages of employment and labor relations, confronting some of the most challenging issues facing employers in the modern workplace.  A strong background in wage and hour class action litigation is important.

Requirements

• Experience in California employment law including, but not limited to, litigation experience in both PAGA and wage and hour class actions

• Trial experience is a plus
