JOB DESCRIPTION
As a Project Architect, you will play a critical role in the successful execution of architectural projects from concept to completion. You will collaborate closely with clients, design teams, and contractors to ensure the highest level of design quality, functional efficiency, and adherence to project timelines and budgets. Your expertise in architectural design, technical detailing, and project management will contribute to the overall success and impact of the firm.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage and lead design teams through all project phases, including schematic design, design development, and construction documentation
- Develop and produce architectural drawings, specifications, and construction details
- Coordinate and communicate effectively with project stakeholders, including clients, consultants, and contractors
- Conduct site visits to review progress, address design issues, and ensure compliance with design intent and construction standards
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and consultants to integrate sustainable design principles into projects
- Mentor junior architects and provide guidance on design principles, technical detailing, and project management best practices
REQUIREMENTS
- Accredited degree in architecture
- Minimum 7+ years of post graduate experience
- Proficient in design software, including Revit, Lumion, and Adobe Creative Suite
- Knowledge of building codes, regulations, and construction methods
- Demonstrated experience managing complex architectural projects from concept to completion
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Attention to detail and a passion for design excellence
BENEFITS
Pay Range: $85,000 - $110,000Final salary decisions are made based upon the extent and relatedness of the candidate’s education and experience and considering internal equity and external market factors.
