Shipping and Receiving

Parallel Employment Group is currently seeking a Shipping and Receiving associate for a reputable client in Racine, WI.

1st shift: 8:00 am -4:30 pm

Job location: Racine, WI

Pay: $20.00/ HR

Position type: temp to hire

Responsibilities:

• Manually enter and convert portal orders into Operating System.
• Pull parts from order loaded into scanner.
• Pack shipments securely & safely for transport
• Use shipping software.
• Prepare required shipping documents such as: shipping labels, invoices, bills of lading
• Requirements

Requirements

• Prior experience in shipping and receiving is preferred
• Experience operating forklifts and other material handling equipment
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
• Ability to lift and carry heavy objects
• Good communication and problem-solving abilities
• Basic mathematical, (English) reading, writing and comprehension skills
• Must be able to stand, lift (up to 50Ibs), and bend for an 8 + hour shift
• Must be able to adapt to new processes and procedures
• Must be able to operate basic warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks
• Basic computer skills
