Parallel Employment Group is seeking a Bilingual Production Line Lead for our innovative manufacturing client. This role is perfect for a proactive leader who can manage and develop a diverse production team while ensuring optimal efficiency and quality on the floor.
Working knowledge of all Employee and Food Safety aspects of the line or area
o Lock Out Tag Out
o General Employee Safety
o Emergency Evacuation
o HACCP
o SQF
o GMP’s
• Be able to read and comprehend production related documentation (requires the ability to read, write and communicate in English)
o Production Memo’s
o Standards of Work
o 1st Off Inspections
o Downtime Tracking
o Any other documentation
• Demonstrated Leadership characteristics
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
o Good Listening Skills
• Self-starter with demonstrated initiative
• Is a proven team player both as a team member and a team leader
• Demonstrated problem solving skills
• Mechanical aptitude and full understanding of operations within his/her assigned area
• Basic computer skills including the ability to enter data into a computer or other electronic device
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee and guide production line activities, ensuring all team members are effectively trained and engaged.
Communicate and coordinate with employees in both English and Spanish to facilitate understanding and collaboration.
Monitor production processes to ensure adherence to quality standards and deadlines.
Conduct performance evaluations and implement corrective actions as necessary.
Prepare work schedules, assign tasks, and manage workflow on the production line.
Ensure compliance with company policies and safety regulations.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment for all team members.
Utilize problem-solving skills to address production issues quickly and effectively.
Requirements
Bilingual in English and Spanish is required.
High school diploma or equivalent; further education in manufacturing or management is a plus.
Minimum of five years of experience in a production environment.
Previous supervisory or leadership experience strongly preferred.
Knowledge of production and packaging processes.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and production-related software.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
