Full Job Description
Talent4health is currently seeking a Pharmacist for a 13 weeks contract position.
50 MILE RADISU RULE
Responsibilities:
- Dispense prescription medications and provide counseling to patients on medication use, dosage, side effects, and possible interactions with other medications.
- Review prescriptions for accuracy and appropriateness, ensuring compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and standards.
- Interact with healthcare providers to clarify medication orders, resolve any issues or discrepancies, and provide drug information.
- Monitor patients' medication therapy for effectiveness and safety, and make recommendations for adjustments as needed.
- Maintain accurate and complete documentation of all medications dispensed and medication-related activities.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and medication safety initiatives.
- Stay updated on new drugs, therapies, and advancements in the field of pharmacy through continuing education and professional development activities.
Shift: 10hr Days (7a-5p with some flexibility)
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited school of pharmacy with a PharmD degree.
- Active pharmacist license in the state of practice.
- Excellent knowledge of pharmacy laws, regulations, and standards.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with healthcare professionals.
- Attention to detail and precision in medication dispensing and documentation.
- Experience with electronic medical record systems is preferred.
- Hospital or clinical pharmacy experience is a plus.
Requirements
Skills and Qualifications:
