Job Description:
As our Performance Marketing Copywriter, you'll be at the forefront of our data-driven, results-oriented approach. You’ll craft compelling copy that converts, constantly innovating and adapting based on real-time strategic feedback.
- Partner closely with the Creative Director and Content Director to write and optimize copy across digital channels.
- Develop high-converting copy across multiple platforms, fusing creative and content direction with data insights to deliver impactful, conversion-focused copy at every customer touchpoint.
- Attend project kick-offs, digest and apply content direction and content strategies, paying close attention to creative and marketing objectives to fulfill cross-functional copy requests.
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to align creative vision with analytical goals.
- Navigate both upper funnel and lower funnel content strategies, ensuring your writing reflects the brands strategic objectives and resonates effectively with audience segments.
- Continuously analyze copy performance and prep copy deliverables with relevant performance insights
- Identify opportunities to refine messaging based on customer feedback.
- Partner with the design team to ensure copy is correctly flowed into design and find integrated visual/copy solutions.
- Contribute innovative ideas to copy test plans, pitching iterations on proven tactics and bold new approaches.
- Execute clean, detail-oriented, top-quality copy that aligns with channel best practices and meets brand quality standards.
- Take ownership of deadlines and follow project schedules and updates.
- Proofread and edit copy to maintain accuracy, consistency, and adherence to our brand guidelines, and is culturally appropriate, while upholding a high standard of grammar, spelling, and punctuation.
- Track and manage copy performance for reporting.
- Stay current on fashion industry trends, cultural trends, social trends and language trends—while staying up-to-date on market competitors to ensure copy enforces Wantable’s distinct brand positioning.
- Participate in brainstorming, concept development and creative execution.
- Proofread and edit copy to maintain accuracy, consistency, and adherence to our brand guidelines, and is culturally appropriate, while upholding a high standard of grammar, spelling, and punctuation.

- Creative and strategic thinker, able to translate content direction into high-quality performance copy
- Data-driven and results oriented! Have an insatiable curiosity that drives you to constantly ask questions, seek results and get intimately familiar with how to get and read results for yourself to help elevate your work.
- You have a passion for and deep understanding of the fashion retail industry and bring that expertise through in all of your writing.
- Thrive in a fast-paced digital environment and take pride in seeing the impact generated by your writing-in email subject lines, paid social posts, and more.
- Understands how to navigate changing priorities.
- Have the ability to give and take creative feedback and constructive criticism.
- Are naturally curious and passionate about the brand and storytelling journey and desire to work within a cross-functional team to deliver an amazing product.
- Efficient and able to produce significant output with minimum wasted effort.
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, meticulous, and high organizational skills.
- Attention to detail: doesn’t let important detail slip through the cracks and doesn’t let non-essential information derail a project.
- Keeps and fulfills commitments - verbal and written agreements.
- Creative problem-solving skills with a “can-do” attitude.
- 2+ years of strong work experience in a creative agency – digital ad copy experience is a must.
- A strong digital portfolio with relevant copy experience is a must.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent job experience.
