Order Picker

We are currently hiring for the position of Order Picker at Parallel Employment. As an Order Picker, you will be responsible for accurately picking and preparing orders for shipment. This role requires attention to detail and the ability to operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and hand carts. Using RF scanners, you will efficiently locate and retrieve products according to quantity and size. Additionally, you will assist in restocking inventory and maintaining records of completed orders.

Essential job functions and expectations for the Picking Associate include but are not limited to the following.

• Prepare orders by processing requests, picking customer orders professionally and accurately.

• Ability to operate, pallet jacks, maneuver picking carts and help maintain warehouse equipment.

• Proficiency with RF Scan guns.

• Professionally communicate with Managers, peers fulltime and seasonal staff members.

• Job functions, assignments are based on need and availability. Flexibility is required.

• Overtime will be considered mandatory at times.

• Support warehouse managers with special projects, and additional duties when requested.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Prior experience as an order picker or in a similar warehouse position preferred
• Strong attention to detail
• Physical strength and stamina to lift and move heavy objects
• Punctual and reliable
• Ability to operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and hand carts
• Experience using RF scanners
• Experience using a Stand-up truck is a plus
