How does a Material Handler Lead at KTP spend a typical day?
- Operate a sit-down electric forklift safely
- Oversee the other forklift operators suppling production lines with correct raw materials needed to keep up with production demands
- Directly responsible for executing shift requirements as put forth by the Warehouse Supervisor or Plant Manager in shipments, as well as procuring and managing materials.
- Review, observe and oversee the work-related activities of others in their area and assure proper work execution.
- Ensure correct procedural implementation and documentation.
- Observe all safety, PPE, cGMP, and quality procedures while completing required tasks and assure others in the area do likewise.
- Effectively communicate with subordinates, peers, and the senior leadership team as well as with various other departments and plants on production, efficiency, policy, and other work-related issues.
- Complete "Lot tracking" of all incoming raw materials and packaging components.
- Utilizing RF scan gun technologies - scanning and barcoding into aScan system

- Exceptional organizational skills, along with strong attention to detail.
- Excellent multi-tasking skills along with ability to perform well under pressure while maintaining composure and respect for everyone
Requirements
- Experience operating a forklift in a manufacturing or warehouse environment.
- Ability to read a pick-list and use an electronic inventory control system.
- Ability to learn quickly and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail with strong communication skills
- Proven ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion with information.
- Ability to maintain a safe, clean, organized warehouse and work area.
