Full Job Description
We are looking for experienced and aspiring teachers in the Milwaukee area. We will train aspiring teachers in a self-pace, and web-based training program free of charge.
WHO ARE YOU
Teachers on Demand, INC. is an educational services group placing educators into career-based positions and roles in education. We seek 20 educators specializing in one or many subjects, who are passionate about education, and committed to shaping the next generation.
Teachers (Milwaukee, WI)
- Toddlers Classes = Start time 7:45am to 1:40pm Ages 3-to 4-years old
- Preschool Classes = Start time 7:45am to 3:15pm Ages 5-to 6-years old
- Primary School Classes = Start time 7:45am to 3:15pm 1st to 6th Grade
- Middle School Classes = Start time 7:45am to 3:15pm 7th to 8th Grade
Compensation:
Hourly Pay Rate:
- Toddlers - $20.00 hourly for 6 to 8 hours Monday to Friday
- Preschool Classes - $18.00 hourly for 8 hours Monday to Friday
- Primary School Classes - $17.00 hourly for 8 hours Monday to Friday
- Middle School Classes - $20.00 Hourly for 8 hours Monday to Friday
OUR PARTNER CHARTER
The school is a charter Montessori school from Pre-K through 9th grade that serves a diverse group of learners across two locations. They are a school.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of teaching experience as lead teacher.
- Minimum of 5 years as Assistance Teacher or Instructions Aide.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with students, parents, and other staff members.
- Must be Subject Matter Expert in K-6 Math, K-6 Reading, K-6 Writing, Or K-6 Science/STEM
- We will train and hire candidates that submit a Resume, Cover letter, and 200 word writing Sample.
- Training is Free, Web-based, and Self-paced.
- Proficiency in using educational technology tools.
