Seeking a Content Strategist to join our Life Science US Team. This role will be responsible for overseeing the back-end strategy of medical device digital and print content.
Main Purpose
Help drive innovative solutions in the healthcare industry through planning and implementation of a variety of digital and print medical device deliverables.
Requirements
Main Responsibilities
- Collaborate with technical writer to develop and implement complex content strategies to ensure consistent, harmonized, and compliant quality of content, considering version control and complex implementation strategies.
- Lead the exploration of solutions development to meet growing needs.
- Design document processes for implementation of complex strategies.
- Create and maintain content models and oversee governance of information architecture.
- Create and maintain style guides, taxonomies, and glossaries to ensure harmonized voice and terminology throughout digital and print deliverables.
- Communicate effectively to build consensus among stakeholders and teams.
- Implement and migrate content to Component Content Management System.
- Provide editorial insight into content creation process, including structured authoring optimization to support content reuse.
- Manage content development and governance.
- Gain cross-functional alignment on content strategy through team collaboration and presentation of ROI data.
- Schema validation and publication testing support.
Educational background
- Bachelor's degree with an emphasis on English, Journalism, Technical Writing, Content Strategy, Library Science, or equivalent experience required.
Professional background
- Experience as a successful content strategist required.
- Experience managing and implementing structured authoring, especially XML-based, DITA, and Component Content Management Systems (CCMS).
- Experience participating in the iterative design process.
- Experience working under regulatory and clinical restrictions preferred.
- Knowledge of UX design process preferred.
- Technical writing experience, with focus in pharmaceutical or medical devices a plus.

Salary base range for this position is between $80K to $95K, dependent upon experience and physical location. This position is eligible for a variable compensation in addition to salary.
