2nd shift Bakery Lead

Parallel Employment Group is currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Bakery Lead to join our team for the 2nd shift. As a Bakery Lead, you will be responsible for overseeing the production of baked goods, ensuring quality control, and leading a team of bakery associates. 2nd shift: 2:00 pm -10:30 pm (Must be flexible to work weekends)

Training: Training to be conducted during 1st shift hours for 3 weeks

Pay: $20-22.00 hourly based on experience

Responsibilities

• Oversee the production process of baked goods, including mixing, shaping, proofing, and baking
• Ensure that all products meet quality standards and are produced in a timely manner
• Train and supervise bakery associates, providing guidance and support
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment
• Adhere to food safety and sanitation regulations
• Collaborate with the management team to develop and implement process improvements

Requirements

• Previous experience in a bakery or food production environment preferred but not required
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
• Attention to detail and ability to maintain quality standards
• Basic Math skills
• Flexibility to work as a hands on, floater, whenever coverage is needed
