Project Analyst

We have an opening for a full-time, permanent Project Analyst to join our talented, dynamic team in support of a large Federal Government customer.

The Project Analyst will support the Department of Veterans Affairs by providing technical and programmatic support services to include development, maintenance, enterprise architecture, and administrative engineering support.  

Duties

As a Project Analyst supporting Maveris programs, you will be trusted to help lead the delivery of our IT products and services. In this role, a typical day will include: 

• Directly support the Program Manager with all day to day activities.  

• Plan, maintain and manage schedules for senior leadership.  

• Provide deliverable management support to include but not limited to; route deliverables through for review, formally submit deliverables to the customer, update deliverable status in customer and internally facing tools, provide deliverable reviews and editing.  

• Assist the Program Manager with creating and updating recurring deliverable reports to include but not limited to weekly, monthly, quarterly reports and memos and correspondence.   

• Conduct deliverable and technical document review to ensure proper formatting, grammar, and style. 

• Schedule meetings as needed for the Government Team, Program Manager & Team Leads and coordinate schedules to ensure maximum attendance.  

• Prepare meeting agendas, power points, templates, take meeting minutes and attend relevant meetings.  

• Interact with all team members and assist in task areas as needed when additional support is required.  

• Responsible for onboarding new team members, both internal and subcontractors, on to awarded contracts.  

• Responsible for ensuring all onboarding documentation is completed accurately prior to submission.  

• Create reports to provide the Program Manager with data points on where each team member is in the onboarding process.  

• Manage and track quarterly and annual training for all onboarded team members.  

• Create reusable and repeatable processes to implement efficiency in existing processes. 

• Responsible for liaising with both internal and external stakeholders in a professional manner. 

• Responsible for offboarding all team members, both internal and subcontractors, from awarded contracts.  

• Work in task management tools as necessary to support onboarding, offboarding or deliverable tasks.   

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business or IT related discipline
• 5 years of relevant experience
• A minimum of 8 years of additional relevant experience may be substituted for education
• Expert in MS Suite Tools to include MS Project, Excel, Word, SharePoint, MS Teams, and PowerPoint 
• Experience in proofreading and editing documents that are technical in nature to ensure proper formatting, grammar and style
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills 
• Strong planning and time management skills 
• Self-starter who meets and exceeds deadlines and takes initiative  
• Detail orientated with strong organizational skills
