Our company is seeking an entry-level Sales Consultant to join our nationwide team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to sell the American Dream of home ownership while representing our prestigious builder partner, Maronda Homes.

You’ll serve as a trusted advisor, guiding homebuyers through one of the most important decisions of their lives. While you will represent Maronda Homes on the front lines, this role is employed with New Home Star, the largest privately owned seller of new homes in America.
This position is based in the Charles Town, WV, area. You’ll help cultivate strong customer relationships throughout the home-building journey and set essential expectations for a successful new home build.

Pay Structure & Benefits
- Base salary plus commission.
- Competitive pay structure where your income is directly tied to your sales performance. With average earnings ranging from $55,000-$70,000, the sky's the limit—there's no cap on your earning potential! Your dedication and success drive your financial growth

Requirements
- Availability: Must be able to work onsite during business hours - including weekend days.
- Experience: Experience from part-time roles, internships, or volunteer work in sales, customer service, or any professional setting is a plus. Enthusiasm and a willingness to learn are key!
- Skills: A passion for learning and career growth in new home sales, with strong communication, interpersonal, and time management skills to engage effectively, prioritize tasks, and thrive in a fast-paced, goal-driven environment.
- Tech Proficiency: Advanced computer skills, including Zoom, MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), and the ability to quickly adapt to new technologies.
- Education/License: A bachelor’s degree is preferred; a valid real estate license must be obtained during training.
- Other Requirements: Reliable transportation, a valid driver’s license, and current liability insurance are essential. A background check will be conducted.
Responsibilities
- Support seasoned sales professionals by assisting customers through the home-buying journey, ensuring a seamless and exceptional experience from start to finish.
- Participate in ongoing professional development through our internal learning platform, where you’ll master new sales techniques, deepen your product knowledge, and strengthen client relationship-building skills.
- Assist with various marketing initiatives, including promotional events and community outreach, to effectively represent our homes and neighborhoods.
- Collaborate closely with your team to meet and exceed sales targets, contributing to a high-performing and supportive team environment.
- Ensure timely and accurate administrative tasks related to customer transactions, including documentation, follow-up, and reporting.
