Requirements

TEST AND BALANCE (TAB) TECHNICIAN: This is where you come in.

 

We’re looking for a TAB Technician to perform testing and balancing work involving a variety of mechanical systems and control devices in the commercial HVAC industry.  They are expected to meet performance standards set by management and comply with all Company policies and procedures.  This position will train and work with other technicians.  In return for achieving aggressive goals, you’ll get rewarded with more to own, a ton of growth opportunities, and more freedom than you’ve probably ever had. 

 

Top deliverables in the first year to be a hero:

  • Perform testing, adjusting, and balancing of specialized heating, cooling, ventilation, and heat transfer systems in commercial applications
  • Read and record accurate information from air and hydronic equipment
  • Perform mathematical operations quickly and accurately
  • Prepare written reports regarding system installation function and design deficiencies

The TAB Technician role reports to Ron Landberg/Field Engineering Manager on a collaborative team working on a variety of projects and initiatives to support our growing business. This highly visible role interacts with all levels and functions within the organization.

You should have…

  • A track record of delivering basic understanding of blueprints and computer programs
  • Expertise leveraging written reports regarding system installation function and design deficiencies
  • NEBB or TABB certification.
