As a Supply Chain Procurement Manager you will be responsible for overseeing and improving all aspects of the procurement/supply chain processes across the organization. This includes planning, materials management, purchasing, logistics, booking and inventory control. You will be working collaboratively with other departments, such as operations, construction, and finance, to ensure the efficient and effective operation of the supply chain. Moreover you will also work closely with suppliers to develop strong relationships and ensure timely delivery of goods and services at the best possible price.

The Supply Chain Procurement Manager must be able to manage multiple priorities and be committed to ongoing process improvements. It will be their responsibility to ensure proper processes are followed for supply chain management, including compliance with applicable regulations and laws.

  • Strategic Planning: Develop and execute procurement strategies that align with the goals and objectives of the organization. Continuously assess market trends, supplier performance, and industry best practices to optimize procurement processes.
  • Supplier Management: Identify, evaluate, and onboard suppliers that meet quality, cost, and compliance requirements. Foster strong relationships with key suppliers to ensure the reliability of the supply chain and drive continual improvement.
  • Contract Negotiation: Lead negotiations with suppliers to secure favorable terms, pricing, and service levels. Collaborate with legal and finance teams to review and finalize contracts that minimize risks and maximize value for the organization.
  • Cost Management: Implement initiatives to reduce costs and improve efficiency within the procurement function. Analyze spending patterns, identify opportunities for cost reduction, and track savings achieved through procurement activities.
  • Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and organizational policies. Develop and enforce procurement policies and procedures to mitigate risks related to the quality, safety, and security of supplies and services.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, or related field.
  • 3+ years of relevant experience.
  • Previous construction sphere experience required.
  • Multi-state/international experience preferred.
  • Excellent management skills.
  • Expertise in logistical systems and practices, warehouse management.
  • Strong business acumen.
  • Strong negotiation skills.
