Full Job Description
Large fruit warehouse is looking for shipping clerk to join the team. A Shipping Clerk’s responsibilities include answering phones, checking in truck drivers and putting up new orders. They are also accountable for checking certifications and Phytos, communicating with sales people & dock drivers. .
Responsibilities
- answering phones
- checking sales orders
- checking in and out truck drivers
- putting up paperwork for export orders
- checking certifications & Phytos
- working with the loading dock drivers to make sure loads are ready
- being able to communicate with sales people about their orders if something is not right with the order (not enough boxes or too many boxes)
- checking export paperwork for errors
- making sure pallet ticket are scanned appropriately for the order
Requirements
- Proven work experience as a Shipping Clerk or similar role
- Ability to lift items and containers
- Flexibility to work different hours throughout the week as needed Most of the time it's 8am - 5pm
- Ability to multitask and pay close attention to detail in a fast-paced environment
- A high school qualification or equivalent is preferred
