Full Job Description
** This is a contract role that goes through December 2024, with potential to extend. It is an onsite position in the Greater Seattle area and candidates must be able to work onsite 4-5days/wk.**
Our client in the blockchain industry is hiring a Senior Listening Analyst who will be responsible for utilizing advanced listening tools to gather actionable insights that will inform marketing strategies and enhance our developer communities.
Your analytical skills will be crucial in interpreting data and translating it into clear, comprehensive reports that will drive decision-making across multiple departments. You will work closely with the social media team to escalate issues, share positive sentiment, and contribute to campaign ideas. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, a passion for social media, and the ability to distill large volumes of data into meaningful stories that resonate with stakeholders and guide our brand’s online presence.
Key Responsibilities:
· Social Listening: Be a subject matter expert in Social Listening and develop and implement social listening strategies to monitor brand sentiment, emerging trends, and conversations within the blockchain community. Develop and execute social media listening strategies aligned with business objectives.
· Advanced Social Media Monitoring: Utilize Sprinklr to design and manage sophisticated listening dashboards and keyword queries to monitor social media platforms.
· Deep Data Analysis: Conduct in-depth analysis of social media data to uncover trends, sentiment, influencers, and emerging issues. Provide strategic recommendations based on findings. Identify and translate social trends and insights into actionable ideas and strategies.
· High-Level Reporting: Generate comprehensive reports and present insights to senior leadership and stakeholders. Use advanced data visualization techniques to communicate findings effectively.
· Competitive Intelligence: Monitor and analyze competitor activities and industry trends to inform strategic planning and identify opportunities and threats.
· Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure social media listening efforts support overall business goals. Lead cross-functional projects and initiatives
· Optimization and Innovation: Continuously refine and optimize listening queries and dashboards for greater accuracy and relevance. Stay updated with the latest Sprinklr features and social media trends. Drive innovation in social media listening practices.
· Ad-Hoc Queries & Reporting: Triage and manage ad-hoc listening query requests as well as reporting requests by stakeholders.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Data Analytics, a related field, or equivalent experience in research and insights.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in social media listening, analysis, or a related field
- Proven experience in social listening, digital analytics, or market research, ideally within the tech or blockchain industries.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets and translate findings into actionable insights.
- Familiarity with social listening tools (e.g., Sprinklr) and data visualization platforms.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey insights to diverse audiences.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Skills:
- Expert proficiency in Sprinklr.
- Exceptional analytical and critical thinking skills.
- Experience with Microsoft programs – Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Teams and AI tools a plus.
- Advanced proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong project management skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Deep understanding of social media platforms and their respective analytics tools
Benefits
Compensation Range: $115,000 - $125,000 per year
- This pay range is Client-specific for the opening advertised. The identity of the Client will be disclosed if you are selected to move forward in the hiring process.
