We're looking for a Senior Content & Community Strategist to join our crew here at SPCSHP, working on Starbucks in Seattle. The ideal candidate for this position is well rounded, with strong social strategic sensibilities, creative flair, passion for innovation, and a proactive spirit to make great work. 

Roles + Responsibilities:

  • Define and implement social and content strategies for the overall brand and specific projects.
  • Manage influencer and community campaigns and integration
  • Collaborate with social-first video creators and creator-led content through concept, briefing, execution, feedback and delivery
  • Be the team oracle of Internet culture, including unearthing and evaluating UGC and creators to partner with, or use as inspiration
  • Tracking, identifying and ideating against emerging trends and storylines occurring online
  • Able to derive insights and recommendations from community monitoring and social listening
  • Provide strategic guidance on supporting campaigns with paid media Able to bring content ideas to life through the identification of insights, development of concept, copy, and visual thought starters, including assembling the team for proactive brainstorms and running with the outcome of the brainstorm to build social content and concepts
  • Able to evolve creative ideas through intricate knowledge of the Social Media landscape, developments, platforms, formats, and best practices
  • Ability to professionally and enthusiastically collaborate with team and clients
  • Communication of creative strategies and ideas to senior members of our internal team, clients and partners
  • Writing and publishing content across various Social Media platforms
  • Deliver Social Media campaigns and ad hoc day-to-day activities

Requirements

  • 6+ years of professional Social Media experience. Agency preferred.
  • Must be willing to go into clients office a minimum of 2x a week in Seattle to collaborate with SPCSHP creative teams and directly with clients
  • A clear understanding of the Social Media marketing space, an ongoing passion for Social Media trends and innovation
  • Interest and knowledge of coffee culture - professional experience a plus.
  • Strong creative and professional writing skills, particularly short-form content
  • Deck building and presentation skills
  • Experience with Google Docs, Slides, Sheets (as well as the ability to work in Microsoft Teams, PowerPoint, etc. for client presentations and collaboration) 
  • Experience collaborating with content creators on the development of social-first video
