Senior Backend Software Engineer

Global e-commerce business team hopes to provide users with more tailored, active and efficient consumption experience, enabling merchants to receive stable and reliable platform services in different scenarios such as live e-commerce, short video content e-commerce, so as to make more affordable and high-quality products sell easily and a better life within reach.

Responsibilities

- Develop efficient, highly scalable and secured services to build/integrate e-Commerce solutions for Global e-commerce Seller Platform

- Optimize backend systems and services for data security, modularity, computational efficiency and scalability.

- Manage project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables

- Collaborate with PM and R&D teams globally, in a fast-paced environment

Requirements

Best have 4 yrs + big tech companies experience. In the future, this cdd will be responsible for owning the e-commerce system building.

Bilingual in Mandarin and English.

We are looking for candidates with notable achievements in their past projects, particularly those who have designed and managed large-scale and complex projects. A strong business sense is essential, and experience in e-commerce is a plus.）

Experience in backend development, particularly in customer and business user interfaces, and product feature releases.

Minimum Qualifications:

- BS or MS degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related areas

- 4+ years of experience in one or more programming languages such as Go, Java, Python etc.

Preferred Qualifications:

- In depth knowledge of common databases and messaging frameworks like MySQL, Redis, Kafka etc.

- Strong software programming capabilities, exhibits good code design and coding style

- Deep understanding of data structure, algorithm design and analysis, networking, data security and highly scalable systems design

- Exhibit good problem solving skills and team communication / collaboration skills

- Great to have large-scale system design experience

- Great to have E-Commerce products experience
