Registered Nurse (RN) - Washington (New Grads Encouraged to Apply)

Seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse to provide high-quality patient care in a dynamic healthcare setting. This role involves assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care needs, emphasizing patient safety and collaboration with a healthcare team.

Essential Functions:

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care needs.
• Document patient care in the healthcare record according to established standards.
• Direct and delegate care to other team members based on education, credentials, and competence.
• Pursue professional development and education to maintain effectiveness.
• Participate in hospital policy, procedure, quality improvement, and safety programs.

Requirements

Education:

• Degree from an accredited School of Nursing (required)
• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (preferred)

Experience:

• Minimum one year of RN experience in an acute care facility (required)
• Experience in post-ICU, trauma, urology, and gynecology care (preferred)

Credentials:

• Valid State of Oregon Nursing License (required)
• Basic Life Support Certification (required upon hire)

Skills:

• Ability to apply age-specific care principles.
• Foster positive interpersonal relationships and a patient-centered environment.
• Support and interpret hospital policies and procedures.
• Basic computer proficiency.

Working Conditions:

Physical:

• Patient handling is limited to 35 lbs. without assistance.
• Fine motor skills for medical equipment operation and precise procedures.
• Push/Pull frequently up to 45 lbs.
• Ability to perform CPR with significant force.
• Mobility around the area with frequent sitting.
• Frequent bending, stooping, squatting, reaching, and kneeling.
• Occasional lifting up to 20 lbs., frequent lifting up to 5 lbs.

Environmental:

• Exposure to biohazards and airborne particles.
• Ability to work in a noisy environment.

Mental/Visual:

• Normal vision and hearing (corrections permitted).
• Effective communication skills.
