Full Job Description
FEFA LLC is seeking an experienced and highly skilled Program Manager Support professional to provide expert technical and programmatic advice to a Government Client in the implementation of robust decision-analytical processes. The role will focus on developing decision papers (memoranda), preparing decision trees and tables, advising on technical decisions, analyzing risks, developing roadmaps and decision frameworks, and assisting in framing, making, and implementing critical decisions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide recommendations on decisions related to the design of the High-Level Waste (HLW) Vitrification Facility.
- Address and resolve emerging challenges in integrating facilities that support the Direct-Feed LAW mission.
- Offer expert advice on proposed technical approaches, including evaluating assessments and determinations based on pricing and cost estimate sources.
- Assist in decision-making processes relied upon by senior leadership to obtain necessary support and approvals through the established procedures of the Government Client’s Washington, D.C., headquarters.
- Support mission-critical tasks, including the development of white papers and programmatic documents. Areas of focus include the Consent Decree, Tri-Party Agreement, negotiations with environmental regulators, budgeting, strategic planning, communications, and public affairs.
- Leverage superior writing and communication skills to ensure clarity, precision, and responsiveness in all interactions.
Requirements
Minimum Qualifications:
- BS/BA degree in Engineering or Business Administration.
- Training and certifications as a Federal Project Director II and Federal Contracting Officer Representative II.
- At least 10 years of experience as a Federal Project Director, including a strong background in implementing program management practices, policies, and procedures for Government Clients.
- Working-level knowledge of Hanford Site missions, activities, and priorities.
- Familiarity with Government Client processes and procedures specific to the Hanford Site.
- Exceptional communication, responsiveness, and customer service skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365, with advanced knowledge of MS Word and Excel.
- U.S. citizenship with the ability to obtain and maintain a favorable security clearance.
